UNIFORM GUIDE
Sea Cadets and League Cadets wear distinct uniforms that must be maintained in impeccable condition, including proper grooming, shined shoes, and jewelry per regulations.
WORKING UNIFORM (TYPE III)
NWU Type III
Woodland camouflage pattern with coyote brown undershirt and black boots. Worn at most drills.
Regular drill weekends
SERVICE DRESS BLUES
Dress Blues / Winter
Navy blue formal winter uniform. Matching top/bottom with black dress shoes.
Ceremonies (Oct–Apr)
SERVICE DRESS WHITES
Dress Whites / Summer
All-white formal summer uniform with white dress shoes and insignia.
Ceremonies (May–Sep)
PHYSICAL TRAINING (PT) GEAR
PT Uniform
Gold t-shirt, royal blue shorts, black athletic shoes. Winter PT adds sweatpants.
Physical training sessions
WINTER UNIFORM — Dress Blues — Oct 1 – Apr 30
SUMMER UNIFORM — Dress Whites — May 1 – Sep 30
NEW CADET BASICS
- Coyote brown or navy blue t-shirts
- Black leather combat boots
- Black military oxford shoes
- PT gear: gold t-shirt, blue shorts
GROOMING & REGULATIONS
Male Grooming: Hair cut above ears and neck, no longer than 2", no facial hair permitted.
Jewelry: One ring per hand. Females: one 4-6mm silver ball earring per ear.
Female Grooming: Hair may touch but not fall below collar. Natural colors only.
NLCC Update: Short-sleeve white shirts used year-round. No neckties authorized.
